Day 1
DAY 01: SIEM REAP ARRIVAL

Welcome to Siem Reap! At the start of your wonderful journey you will be collected at airport by our driver and transferred to your hotel. You will then check in and have short rest before your trip to explore the secrets of Angkor. The afternoon begins with a visit to the Angkor National Museum to understand the the rich history of The great Khmer Empire during its Golden Era. In the evening you can enjoy an Apsara dancing dinner in local restaurant. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 2
DAY 02: SIEM REAP – ROLOUS – TA PROHM

After a good nights rest it is time breakfast. Today you will get your first close up glimpse of Angkor. We will be visiting the early temples of the Roluos Group – dated from 8th and 9th century, consisting of three main temples Bakong, Lolei and PreahKo. Here you will also experience the local tradition Blessing ceremony for heath and peace. In the afternoon, we will be visiting Ta Prohm, built in the mid 12th to early 13th centuries. Ta Prohm has made Cambodia world famous after the blockbuster movie “Tomb Raider”. This was the film location with huge trees grow over the temples creating an incredible scene. We continue to visit Banteay Kdei, Srah Srang and Pre Rup. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 3
DAY 03: SIEM REAP – BENG MEALEA – TONLE SAP

This morning we head out to visit the quiet temple Beng Mealea – 65 km from Siem Reap. You will feel like a true explorer when you discover the completely overgrown temple. A delicious Picnic lunch will be served along the way. In the afternoon we will embark on an exciting boat trip to Tonle Sap Lake – the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia, covering 250,000 hectares in the dry season. In monsoon season, Mekong river force the Tonle Sap River reverse its flow northwards back to the lake, spreading over the surrounding flood plain. You will visit Kompong Phluck, passing floating houses and impressive flooded forests and have a glimpse of local’s living their lives on the water. (From March to June, this route will be replaced by visiting the Chnong Kneas floating village due to dry season). Overnight in Siem Reap

Day 4
DAY 04: SIEM REAP – ANGKOR THOM – ANGKOR WAT

Today you will visit to the wondrous ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest as well as the most complete temple of Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. Have lunch at Selantra Restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the magnificent Angkor Wat Temple – built during the 12th century and the symbol of Cambodia. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 5
DAY 05: SIEM REAP – BANTEAY SREI – DEPARTURE

Today you will visit the beautiful temple of Banteay Srei. The so-called “Citadel of the Women”, which remains the best preserved temple in Cambodia. It displays some of the finest examples of classical Khmer art as this small temple is noted for its truly remarkable fine bas-reliefs. Banteay Srei is unique in that it is constructed of pink sandstone, which is seen nowhere else in Angkor. On the way back, you will have the possibility to stop at local communities along the way and your guide will help you to interact with the local community to learn about the way of life here. Seize the opportunity to see how rice paper is produced and to taste Palm Wine and Palm Sugar, which are a popular local produce (seasonal).Return to Siem Reap and free for your own leisure until transfer to the airport for your individual departure flight.
