Hoi An was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. A visit to this old-world gem is a sure cultural highlight of any tour in Vietnam. The town is famous for its excellent tailors and art galleries. The narrow streets are crammed with tiny wooden cafes serving steaming coffee.
My Son Sanctuary is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is a great sample of the ancient Champa civilization located in the southern part of Vietnam. My Son was also a political center and a royal burial ground. The complex consists of more than 70 structures devoted to Hindu gods and goddesses. The most noticeable one, Shiva, considered as the protector of the Champa’s kings. Their skillful use of red bricks and sandstone is remarkable.
Tra Que is a charming little village located just a few kilometers from Hoi An. Its location is between the De Vong river and Tra Que alga pond (Cam Ha commune – Hoi An town). This village is famous for many kinds of vegetables: lettuce, salad, houttuynia, flagrant knotweed, basil and coriander vegetables etc…

Our driver will pick you up at Da Nang the airport and gently transfer to Hoi An old town. Check into your hotel.
When you arrive in Hoian – one of the World’s Heritage Site, you will have the chance to walk around this beautiful and ancient town, visit the ancient houses, ancient assembly hall, ancestral temple, and the symbol of Hoi an, Japanese Bridge Pagoda by yourselves. In Hoi An, everything is preserved as it were hundreds of years ago. At night time, Hoi An shows its beauty with colorful lanterns hung all around the town, and at the night market you can buy various kinds of souvenirs.

After a delicious breakfast at your hotel:
8:30 am: Our tour guide will pick you up at you hotel, and then we go to visit My Son Sanctuary – one of the World’s Heritage Sites
10:00 am: My Son Sanctuary, which was to be the citadel of Champa Kingdom, has been keeping its ancient beauty with more than 70 architectural works, which are the temples of the old Champa Kingdom. They still survive until now, despite the destruction of wars. You will be able to discover the old Cham Pa monuments the Champa traditional dance performed by the professional local artists.
12:30 pm: Depart to the restaurant near Hoi An
1:30 pm: Having a great lunch in a local restaurant
2:30 pm: Come back to your hotel in Hoi An

After breakfast time, we will help you to check out your hotel.
8.00am: Our local guide will see you at your hotel with your bicycle. You will cycle to a local farm in Tra Que Village. A short stroll will take you around the vegetable garden and then you can join the farmers in preparing the land and fertilizing it with seaweed from the local lake. Following steps are raking the ground, sowing, watering, picking vegetables and many other gardening activities. After all these activities, it’s time to take a short rest and enjoy foot bath before getting to preparing lunch with a local family.
Your lunch will consist of traditional delicacies including “Tam Huu” spring roll, “Banh Xeo” or local pancake of people in the middle region of Vietnam. You can join the cooking with the chef on these meals. After your morning excursion and your lunch, let’s take a Vietnamese traditional post-prandial nap before learning how to harvest and wrap the vegetables.
Around 2.00pm, it’s a farewell to your host family before riding back to Hoi An.
