Day 1

Welcome to Siem Reap.

You are welcomed at the airport and transfer to the hotel to check in.

In the afternoon you will experience the remork (tuk-tuk) to get to Angkor Wat – the symbol of Khmer people built from 12th century. Apsara Dancing dinner.

Day 2

It’s a great idea for you to see the sunrise over Angkor Wat.

Then return for your delicious breakfast at the hotel.

We will visit to the wondrous ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest as well as the most complete temple of Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares.

We also stroll around this massive edifice, seeing the many galleries with Colums, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple. Continue to Ta Prohm to eye-witness the gigantic fig trees growing over the temple making an incredible sight.

In the early evening, you will be taken to a temple for a blessing ceremony by Buddhist monks for happiness, prosperity and safety for your journey.

Day 3

We will head out of town, you will go to Kbal Spean – one of the earliest Hindu pilgrimage site in Cambodia. A short 3km trek up the hill through the jungle with the view of the plains and Kulen hills.

On the top, you will see the “River of 1,000 Lingas” which literally, there are thousands of lingas are carved in the riverbed. Picnic lunch at the waterfall. On the way back, you will visit the most intricately carved and well-preserved temple of Banteay Srei – “the citadel of Women”. Back to hotel and free for your own leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 4

Today you will embark the boat trip to Tonle Sap Lake – the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia, covering 250,000 hectares in the dry season.

In monsoon season, Mekong river forces the Tonle Sap River reverse its flow northwards back to the lake, spreading over the surrounding flood plain. You will visit Kompong Phluck, passing floating houses and impressive flooded forests and have a glimpse of local’s lives on the water. (From March to June, this route will be replaced by visiting the Chnong Kneas floating village due to dry season). Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.

End of service.
