Nha Trang is surely 6km-long beach. Most visitors are drawn to it for the long and wide shoreline with golden sands. However, please take a note that seasons/weather systems are significant factors in determining the condition of the beach.
Having a series of amazingly beautiful beaches, famous beaches in Nha Trang boast their reputation. The most famous is Nha Trang beach, which has clean blue water, swaying palms, and a pleasant promenade. Though in the midday heat, it’s rather quiet, in the later afternoon, there are a large number of locals and visitors walking around here and having a great time swimming with every wave. The square, the promenade, and the sands at the Lotus Tower on this beach are always a hive of activity with activities.
Dive and Snorkel
Diving and snorkeling might be the most popular things to do in Nha Trang that almost tourists enjoy. Just simply tread a little offshore and you will find many islands which offer these types of activities. However, if you are interested in snorkeling, the best idea is to avoid the windy season from October to December as the weather is not ideal for snorkeling. While snorkeling, you also have a chance to see the varied underwater life. If you want to get a scuba certificate here, then here is an ideal location.
Nha Trang nowadays has over 10 dive shops, so it is a “buyer-friendly” market. Those people who are looking for certification will find great value for money. However, here is some advice from experienced travelers, as with other places in Asia, you had better check what you are getting for your money and make sure that you speak to your Teacher or Instructor, not just a simple “salesman”. Remember, diving, particularly training, should not be assessed and chosen by just the price.

Bai Ho Waterfall Crossing And Trekking
Nha Trang has some beautiful waterfalls and the most well-known among them are Ba Ho and Fairy Spring Waterfalls. Ba Ho Waterfall is a collective trio of waterfalls and natural rock pools nestled amongst lush rainforest. So, one of the most interesting and also challenging things to do in Nha Trang are waterfall crossing and trekking. Ba Ho is a series of three waterfalls which are worth spending one hour of your trip from Nha Trang and could be counted as one of the most impressive Nha Trang attractions. On the other hand, the Fairy Spring waterfalls are actually a steam of water doubling up as a swimming hole in summers.
The coastal scenery is stunning and the rice paddies that lead to the waterfall are incredibly vibrant (at least they were in January). Once you reach the waterfall you’ll need to hike up a semi-steep crude path to reach the three pool.

Po Nagar Cham Towers
This is probably one of the most touristy things to do in Nha Trang. The 7th century Po Nagar Cham Towers are only two kilometers north of central Nha Trang and are one of the city’s most important cultural and religious heritage sites. While today only four of the towers remain, research shows that there used to be up to seven or eight, creating a large complex for worship and prayer. The 28-meter-high North Tower is the most impressive and thanks to its great condition, it is still being used for religious rites today.
While strolling around the vast area you can also read about the Cham Buddhists, the people who built the Po Nagar Cham Towers, and the temple’s turbulent history of raids and takeovers by neighboring kingdoms.

It’s right in the middle of Nha Trang and is one of the main sites in the city. The original temple dates back to 1886. However, it was destroyed by a cyclone and was later relocated to its current location at the base of Trại Thủy Mountain in 1900.
From the entrance, you can peek inside the temple, but also make sure to venture up the hill where you’ll find a giant reclining Buddha, a picturesque pagoda, a fascinating cemetery and then finally a giant white Buddha, which is located at the very top.
Visit Vin Pearl
Hangout on Tran Phu Beach and you’ll notice the giant white Vin Pearl sign on the closest island. Vin Pearl is a resort island that has beaches but more important a theme park and water park.
The cable car linking Nha Trang to Vinpearl has a length of over 3km and is held over 9 pillars. Before this transporting form developed, there is only one way to reach Vinpearl – by boat.
The cable car of Nha Trang travels a distance of about 3320 meters, contains 65 booths, where the cabins could accommodate up to 8 individuals. It is capable of transporting about 1500 people each hour. It is considered the longest ropeway in both Vietnam and in the world.
With just 9 minutes, you can go from Nha Trang to Vin Pearl by using a cable car. Previously, the ferry takes about 20 minutes while the boat takes 7 minutes.
